EM MWD

Newsco provides the most powerful EM tools on the market. Auto-adjusting, High Voltage Transmitters automatically select the necessary power usage for the formation resistance.  This results in the ability to drill deeper than previous EM tools as well as increasing efficiency by spending less time troubleshooting, downlinking and obtaining directional surveys.

Newsco’s EM tool sends up surveys during the pipe connection when pumps are down, resulting in far less time waiting on surveys then traditional MWD pulse tools. The result is more time drilling ahead than traditional MWD pulse tools. Gamma modules have been modified to be placed at the bottom of the EM tool resulting in far closer bit to sensor distances than traditional MWD tools.
